There are so many signs a cat shows when it loves its kind or its owner. But most of us usually ignore the signs because we don’t understand. In this article, you’ll find out about the meaning behind the signs your cat usually does around you!

1. Brushing its tail, or head against you

Cat has scent glands around these body parts. If your cat does this often to you, it means that your cat loves you. It marks you with its scent so no cats will come close to you and mark you. It also means that your cat considers you as its owner.

Many cats’ behaviours are unexpected for some people, including the behaviour above. Have you ever experienced where your cat held your hand, bitten it, then did rabbit kicks multiple times to your lovely hand? Hey! Don’t worry about it. It doesn’t mean your cat hates playing with you. Do you know that all cat mothers play with their kittens exactly like this? Yes! The bite is called play bite. The difference between play bite and a real dangerous bite is play bite tends to be more gentle and less aggressive. Also, if you are lucky your cat will lick your hand right after doing play bites as a sign of love.

A cat does not do a hard eye contact to another cat because that means it is open for a fight or a challenge. Meanwhile, if a cat blinks slowly right after looking at another cat or human, it means that the cat feels unthreatened.
